Jeanne Russell Named a 2026–27 Friend of Southwest ISD

CAST Schools’ former Executive Director Jeanne Russell has been named a 2026–27 Friend of Southwest ISD, recognizing her lasting contributions to students and education across San Antonio.

Southwest ISD honored Russell at a recent Board Meeting, highlighting her passion for creating opportunities for young people, her role in developing impactful education programs throughout San Antonio, and her leadership as the founding Executive Director of CAST Schools. The district also recognized her continued service as a supporter and partner of the Southwest ISD Education Foundation.

The recognition holds special significance for CAST Schools through our longstanding partnership with Southwest ISD, home to CAST STEM High School.
