CAST Schools and the Advanced Learning Academy, in partnership with the City of San Antonio, recently celebrated a significant milestone in its commitment to preparing students for an interconnected world by formally establishing a sister-school partnership with Kaohsiung Municipal Rueisiang Senior High School, a public high school in Taiwan. The agreement creates new opportunities for students and educators to engage in cultural exchange, collaborative learning, and global relationship-building—extending classroom learning far beyond geographic boundaries. The partnership reflects CAST's belief that developing global competence is an essential part of preparing students for college, career, and life.

As highlighted by KSAT 12 News in the video above, the signing ceremony brought together school leaders, students, and community partners to celebrate the beginning of this international collaboration. Through future virtual exchanges, shared projects, and cross-cultural learning experiences, students will have opportunities to build meaningful connections with peers across the globe while gaining the perspectives and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly connected world.
