After weeks of preparation, interviews, and matching with industry partners, CAST Lead seniors made it official Tuesday during the school’s Internship Signing Day.

Surrounded by families, educators, and industry representatives, students signed agreements marking the beginning of their year-long career-connected learning experiences. Thirty-two seniors will intern with six San Antonio hotels, while eight additional students will pursue internship placements aligned with their individual interests and career goals.

The hotel internships connect students with the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk, Hilton Palacio del Rio, Hotel Contessa, The Westin Riverwalk San Antonio, Grand Hyatt San Antonio Riverwalk, and Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk.

Throughout the school year, students will work alongside industry professionals and gain firsthand experience in areas including business management, culinary arts, marketing, communications, customer service, operations, and leadership.

“These internships give students an opportunity to see how many different careers exist within one industry,” said Eddie Rodriguez, Sr. Partnership Director at CAST Schools. “At the same time, our hotel partners are investing in young people who will become part of San Antonio’s future workforce.”

For students, Signing Day represents more than a celebration. It marks the beginning of a year of learning by doing—building professional skills, relationships, and confidence in authentic workplace environments.
